Yes, absolutely! We understand that you want to leave the clinic with a fresh, clean smile. We are more than happy to provide a professional cleaning during your first visit, but we will always perform the comprehensive check-up first.

We don't just want your teeth to look clean on the surface; we want to ensure your entire mouth is fundamentally healthy.

Skipping a thorough examination means we risk missing hidden issues that could cause pain or require extensive treatments later. This comprehensive check-up is designed entirely for your safety and benefit.

If you want to have cleaning with the dentist, please notify the practice when you make your appointments.

What does the Check-Up actually include?

Oral Cancer & Soft Tissue Screening: Checking your tongue, lips, cheeks, and throat for any early signs of oral cancer or soft tissue diseases.

Gum Disease Assessment: Measuring the health of your gums and the bone supporting your teeth to screen for gum disease.

因為透過檢查，我們才能確保不會忽略任何潛在的口腔疾病。例如，若您患有深層牙周病，單純的表面洗牙並不能解決問題。

當我們完成檢查，並確認您的口腔狀況適合進行洗牙後，我們便會為您進行清潔。這一切都是為了給您最全面的照顧。
